Memory corruption via invalid DSP_Services Escape handles
Published Mar 3, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026
Memory corruption in Qualcomm Snapdragon DSP_Services allows local users to compromise affected devices through a crafted Escape call. DSP_Services processes invalid Kernel Mode CPU event and synchronization-object handles while DriverKnownEscape is cleared, causing untrusted pointer dereferences. Low-privileged local access is required; successful exploitation can compromise confidentiality, integrity, and availability without user interaction.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
