CVE-2024-53033

Memory corruption via kernel-address Escape call

Published Mar 3, 2025 · Updated Feb 26, 2026

Untrusted pointer dereference in Qualcomm Snapdragon DSP_Services allows local users to corrupt memory through an Escape call. DSP_Services accepts a valid kernel address where a user-buffer address is required and dereferences that untrusted pointer during the call. Low-privileged local access is required; Qualcomm does not specify whether the resulting corruption executes code, discloses data, or crashes the device.
