Heap-based buffer overflow in Adobe Substance 3D Modeler 1.14.1 and earlier allows context-dependent attackers to execute code via a malicious file. Adobe has not disclosed the affected file format, parsing locus, or buffer operation that writes beyond the heap allocation. Exploitation requires a victim to open the file and runs code in the current user's context, allowing that code to access or alter data available to the user.
