Current-user code execution via malicious file underflow
Published Dec 10, 2024 · Updated Dec 17, 2024
Integer underflow in Adobe Animate 23.0.8, 24.0.5 and earlier allows attackers to execute code when a user opens a malicious file. Adobe has not disclosed the affected parser or the arithmetic operation that wraps below its valid integer range. A victim must open the crafted file; successful exploitation runs arbitrary code with the victim's current-user privileges on Windows or macOS.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
