Adobe Animate 24.0.5 and earlier contains an out-of-bounds write that allows context-dependent attackers to execute code via a malicious file. Adobe has not disclosed the affected file format, parser, memory buffer, or unchecked operation that permits the out-of-bounds write. Exploitation requires a user to open the file, after which code runs with the current user's privileges.
