Code execution via malicious-file integer underflow
Published Dec 10, 2024 · Updated Dec 17, 2024
Integer underflow in Adobe Animate 23.0.8 and 24.0.5 and earlier allows attackers to execute code when a victim opens a malicious file. Adobe identifies an integer-underflow condition but does not disclose the affected parser, file format, or arithmetic operation that wraps on untrusted file data. Exploitation requires the current user to open attacker-controlled content, after which code runs with that user's privileges.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
