Path traversal in FGFMd in Fortinet FortiManager allows remote authenticated users to overwrite arbitrary files via crafted FGFM requests. FGFMd fails to constrain a pathname supplied in an FGFM request to an authorized directory, permitting writes outside the intended path. Administrative FGFM access is required; successful exploitation changes files on the manager and can enable unauthorized code or commands.
