Service interruption via IPsec daemon out-of-bounds write

An IPsec daemon out-of-bounds write in Fortinet FortiOS allows remote attackers to interrupt service with crafted packets. The daemon writes beyond a buffer while processing crafted IPsec packets; Fortinet has not disclosed the malformed field or write operation. Exposure requires an IPsec phase-one interface using signature authentication with digital-signature authentication enabled, and exploitation also depends on conditions outside the attacker’s control.
