CVE-2024-52885Network attack vector

Restricted filename disclosure via File Share traversal

Published Aug 6, 2025 · Updated Aug 6, 2025

Path traversal in Check Point Mobile Access R81.10, R81.20, and R82 allows remote authenticated users to list restricted file names. The File Share application accepts a crafted path that escapes its authorized location, but Check Point has not disclosed the exact pathname-validation failure. Exploitation requires authorization for at least one File Share application and exposes names in directories readable by the gateway's nobody account, not reported file contents.
