Stored script execution via vulnerable form fields
Published Dec 10, 2024 · Updated Dec 11, 2024
Stored XSS in Adobe Experience Manager 6.5.21 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through crafted form fields. Vulnerable form fields retain attacker-controlled script content and later insert it into a rendered page without effective neutralization. Low-privileged access is required to plant the content, and a victim must browse to the affected page; execution occurs in that victim's browser context.
