Browser-session script execution via DOM manipulation
Published Dec 10, 2024 · Updated Dec 11, 2024
DOM-based XSS in Adobe Experience Manager 6.5.21 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run script in a victim's browser. The browser-side rendering path uses crafted URL or form input to manipulate a DOM element, allowing injected script to run when the page renders. Low-privileged access and victim interaction are required, and the script executes within the victim's browser session with limited read and write impact.
