Administrator-session script execution via unescaped editaff parameter
Published Jul 13, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024
Reflected XSS in Tips and Tricks HQ WP Affiliate Platform before 6.5.1 allows remote attackers to run script in an administrator's browser. The affiliates_addedit administration page inserts the editaff query parameter into its response without sanitization or output escaping. Exploitation requires a high-privilege user, such as an administrator, to open a crafted URL; injected script then executes in that user's WordPress origin.
