CVE-2024-52763Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Browser script execution via reflected g parameter

Published Nov 19, 2024 · Updated Nov 20, 2024

Reflected XSS in Ganglia-web 3.7.3 through 3.7.5 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in a victim's browser. The graph_all_periods.php endpoint reflects an insufficiently restricted g value into generated markup, enabling event-handler injection. Exploitation requires a victim to open the crafted URL, after which the injected script runs in that user's Ganglia-web origin.
