Buffer overflow in D-Link DI-8003 16.07.26A1 allows attackers to crash jhttpd through an HTTP request with a crafted ip parameter. The ip_position_asp function accepts the ip value without an effective length bound, overflowing a stack buffer in the jhttpd executable. The request must reach the device's web interface; published assessments disagree on whether adjacent access and low privileges are required.
