Database compromise via imported SQL fragment
Published Dec 2, 2024 · Updated Dec 3, 2024
SQL injection in ZZCMS 2023 allows remote authenticated users to read or modify database data through imported spreadsheet content. The administrative importer stores an XLS column without neutralizing SQL syntax, and q/show.php later concatenates that stored value into a query. The demonstrated path requires an administrator account with import permission, followed by a request to the public show endpoint to run the planted fragment.
