Browser script execution via unneutralized web input
Published Aug 7, 2025 · Updated Jul 5, 2026
Cross-site scripting in the System web-settings endpoint in EyouCMS 1.6.7 allows remote attackers to execute browser script. The affected /login.php route processes the admin System web action without adequately neutralizing attacker-controlled content before generating a page; public records do not identify the specific request parameter or code-level sink. Exploitation requires a victim to interact with attacker-supplied content, and successful script execution can read or alter data available to the victim's browser session.
