SSRF in 2FAuth before 5.4.1 allows remote authenticated users to read text-based resources reachable by the server through icon preview. The preview endpoint fetches the image URL embedded in an otpauth URI, while its extension check accepts a crafted fragment ending in .svg and stores the response as a browser-accessible icon. An authenticated account and server reachability to the target URI are required; successful exploitation discloses retrieved text without changing data.
