Stack-based buffer overflow in Siemens Teamcenter Visualization and Tecnomatix Plant Simulation allows local attackers to execute code. The WRL file parser overflows a stack buffer while processing crafted file data; Siemens has not disclosed the affected function or field. Exploitation requires a user to open an untrusted WRL file, after which attacker-controlled code runs with the current process's privileges or the application crashes.
