Out-of-bounds write in Siemens Teamcenter Visualization and Tecnomatix Plant Simulation allows attackers to execute code via a crafted WRL file. The WRL parser writes beyond an allocated buffer, although Siemens has not disclosed the affected function or malformed WRL element that controls the write. A user must open the file; successful exploitation runs code with the privileges of the current application process, while malformed input can also crash it.
