Service crash via query-string offset underflow
Published Dec 6, 2024 · Updated Dec 6, 2024
Integer underflow in PLANET Technology WGS-804HPT firmware 1.305b210531 allows remote attackers to crash its web service via malformed HTTP requests. The dispatcher.cgi executable miscalculates an offset while parsing the request query string, causing the integer value to wrap below its valid range. The pre-authentication Boa endpoint accepts the request without credentials; published evidence limits the direct consequence to a service crash.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
