CVE-2024-52534Network attack vector

Session theft via replayed authentication material

Published Dec 25, 2024 · Updated Dec 27, 2024

Authentication bypass in Dell Technologies ECS before 3.8.1.3 allows remote authenticated users to steal sessions via capture replay. Dell identifies the flaw as proprietary code but does not disclose the affected endpoint, token type, or validation error that accepts replayed authentication material. Low-privileged access is required, and a stolen session permits unauthorized actions and data access within the captured session's privileges.
