Post-login open redirect via unsanitized redirect URL
Published Nov 15, 2024 · Updated Nov 15, 2024
Open redirect in Nextcloud User OIDC 6.0.0 before 6.1.0 allows remote attackers to redirect users after authentication via crafted login links. LoginController passes redirectUrl directly to RedirectResponse in login() and code(), preserving an attacker-supplied protocol and host. A victim must follow the crafted link and complete OIDC authentication; the flaw then forwards the browser to an attacker-chosen site.
