CVE-2024-5250Network attack vector

Authenticated information disclosure via verbose SAML errors

Published Jul 30, 2024 · Updated Aug 1, 2024

Information disclosure in SAML integrations in Perforce Akana API Platform before 2024.1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read internal details. The SAML single sign-on error path returns unnecessary internal details instead of a generic response when an integration encounters a system error. Exploitation requires low-privileged access and user interaction; the disclosed consequence is limited to exposure of internal information.
