CVE-2024-52443Network attack vector

Unauthenticated PHP object injection

Published Nov 20, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026

PHP object injection in Nerijus Masikonis Geolocator 1.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject objects via untrusted serialized input. The published advisory does not identify the request parameter, code path, or deserialization call that accepts the untrusted serialized data. No authentication is required, but file deletion, sensitive-data retrieval, or code execution requires a suitable PHP object gadget chain from another installed plugin or theme.
