Blind SQL injection via unparameterized email-log search
Published Nov 18, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Blind SQL injection in WPExperts Post SMTP 2.9.9 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read data through email-log search. The administrative search incorporates user-controlled text into a SQL LIKE query without sufficient parameterization. Administrator access to the WordPress dashboard is required, and the blind response channel exposes query-derived database information rather than direct result rows.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=0 <=2.9.9 changes=[{"at":"2.9.10","status":"unaffected"}]
