Published Nov 14, 2024 · Updated May 11, 2026
Unrestricted file upload in kineticPay for WooCommerce 2.0.8 and earlier allows remote attackers to place web shells on the server. The custom checkout file-upload path accepts attacker-supplied content without validating its file type before storing it on the affected site. No account or user interaction is required, and uploaded server-executable content grants code execution with the site's privileges.
