CVE-2024-52329Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Account takeover via self-signed certificate acceptance

Published Jan 23, 2025 · Updated Feb 12, 2025

Improper certificate validation in ECOVACS HOME before 3.0.0 allows man-in-the-middle attackers to steal tokens from TLS traffic. Robot-specific plugins accept self-signed certificates without displaying a warning, although the core app validates certificates. The attacker must control the network path; intercepted tokens remain valid for seven days and grant full account and device access.
