Stored XSS via unescaped width parameter
Published Nov 13, 2024 · Updated Nov 13, 2024
Stored XSS in XWiki SAS PDF Viewer Macro (Pro) 2.5.5 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute script via page edits. The macro inserts the width parameter into an iframe attribute without escaping HTML metacharacters, so crafted input closes the iframe and adds a script element. Page-edit permission is required, and the script runs in a viewer's XWiki origin; an administrator visit exposes the entire installation's data and actions.
