CVE-2024-52285Network attack vector

Sensitive data exposure via unauthenticated MQTT URLs

Published Mar 11, 2025 · Updated Mar 11, 2025

Missing authentication in Siemens SiPass integrated ACC controllers before 6.4.8 allows remote attackers to read sensitive data via MQTT URLs. Several MQTT URL handlers return device data without verifying a session or other credentials before servicing the request. Network reachability to a controller is sufficient; the published impact is limited to disclosure, with no reported data modification or service interruption.
