CVE-2024-52269Known exploitationPublic exploit

Signer deception via omitted hidden document content

Published Dec 4, 2024 · Updated Jan 6, 2025

Content spoofing in Docusign through 2024-12-04 allows attackers to mislead signers with hidden PDF content omitted by the AI assistant. The SaaS AI assistant summarizes the document without content that remains hidden during signing but appears in the rendered post-signature document. Exploitation requires a crafted document and signer interaction, and the consequence is an integrity failure in which the signed output can convey content the signer did not see.
