Stored XSS via unsanitized custom-font uploads
Published May 30, 2024 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in WPXPO PostX 4.1.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users with Author access to run scripts in visitors' browsers. The custom-font upload path in addons/custom_font/Custom_Font.php accepts insufficiently sanitized file input and later emits stored content without adequate output escaping. Author-level access is required; the payload runs when a visitor opens an injected page and can read or alter data available in that visitor's site context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
