OS command injection in affected RTI Connext Professional System Designer releases allows local users to execute arbitrary commands via HTTP/REST requests. RTI identifies improper neutralization of special elements in crafted HTTP/REST requests but does not disclose the affected parameter, handler, or command-construction operation. System Designer listens on localhost port 5000 by default, so exploitation requires same-host access but no application authentication.
