Stored XSS via lifecycleinfos link rendering
Published Mar 3, 2025 · Updated Apr 10, 2025
Stored XSS in ArcGIS Server 11.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript through a publisher-created link. The Server Administrator Directory under Services > lifecycleinfos stores the crafted link for later rendering, but Esri has not disclosed the affected field or exact neutralization failure. Exploitation requires publisher capabilities and a victim to open the stored link; the resulting script can read or modify browser-accessible data.
