Stored script execution via unescaped shortcode attributes
Published Nov 19, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in Productineer Redirecter 1.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts via crafted shortcodes. The shortcode renderer fails to sanitize and escape attacker-controlled attributes before placing them into page output. Contributor-level access is sufficient to store the payload, which executes when another user opens the injected page.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
