Credential disclosure via XXE URI dereference

XXE in HPE AutoPass License Server before 9.17 allows remote attackers to disclose stored credentials through its web service. The XML parser accepts an external-entity URI in a crafted document, dereferences it, and embeds the fetched content into the document for further processing. No authentication is required to reach the service on its default TCP port 5814, and exposed credentials can enable further compromise.
