Refresh-token disclosure via debug console logging
Published Nov 5, 2024 · Updated Nov 5, 2024
Sensitive-data logging in WorkOS AuthKit Remix before 0.4.1 allows local users to read refresh tokens from debug output. The updateSession function passes both the existing refresh token and the newly issued refresh token directly to console.log when debug mode is enabled. Exposure requires the normally disabled debug option, a session refresh, and access to the application's console logs.
