Unauthorized client pairing via reordered protocol stages

Authentication bypass in LizardByte Sunshine 0.23.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to pair a malicious client during legitimate pairing. The pairing handlers fail to enforce phase order, allowing PIN brute force before completion and replayed stages to replace encrypted certificate data. A man-in-the-middle position and an active legitimate pairing attempt are required for client substitution; reordered stages can instead crash the host without user interaction.
