Command hijacking in Symfony Process before 5.4.46, 6.0.0 through 6.4.13, and 7.0.0 through 7.1.6 allows local users to execute code. The Process class prepares Windows commands with a relative cmd.exe name, allowing the current directory to take precedence over PATH. Exploitation requires Windows and a planted cmd.exe in the process working directory; execution inherits the affected PHP process privileges.
