Host command execution via unfiltered report content
Published Nov 5, 2024 · Updated Nov 5, 2024
Stored XSS in Osmedeus 4.6.4 and earlier allows remote attackers to execute host commands through a generated workflow report. The summary module passes spider output through ResolveContentSrc, and extendTag inserts the file content into raw HTML without sanitization. The script runs when an operator views the report and can reuse the browser's JWT to invoke the host-command API.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
