Local privilege escalation via privileged script commands

Local privilege escalation in BlackBerry SecuSUITE Server 5.0.420 and earlier allows local users to issue privileged script commands. BlackBerry identifies the locus as the Server System Configuration component but has not disclosed the erroneous operation that elevates script commands. Exploitation requires control of code running under a system account named in the configuration file and grants that code the component's elevated command privileges.
