CVE-2024-51721

Root code execution via improper link resolution

Published Nov 12, 2024 · Updated Nov 12, 2024

Code injection in BlackBerry SecuSUITE 5.0.420 and earlier allows attackers to execute content as root through its Web Administration Portal. The CNA maps the flaw to improper link resolution before file access, but the precise portal request and file operation are not publicly described. Exploitation requires adjacent-network access, high privileges, and user interaction; successful execution grants root-level control.
