Stored script injection via nonce validation failure
Published Nov 14, 2024 · Updated May 13, 2026
Cross-site request forgery in GentleSource Appointmind 4.0.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject stored scripts. The plugin's settings-update function lacks correct WordPress nonce validation and accepts attacker-supplied settings containing malicious script. Exploitation requires an administrator to act on a forged request; the stored code then executes in a visitor's browser under the affected site's origin.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
