Stored XSS via forged settings update
Published Nov 19, 2024 · Updated May 11, 2026
CSRF in Woopy Plugins SmartLink Dynamic URLs 1.1.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject stored scripts through forged settings requests. A settings-update handler accepts attacker-supplied values without correct nonce validation, then stores inadequately sanitized content for later rendering. Exploitation requires an authenticated administrator to visit or submit attacker-controlled content, after which the stored script runs in visitors' browsers.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
