Cross-site request forgery in Awesome Shortcodes For Genesis 1.1.8 allows remote attackers to plant stored XSS through a privileged user. Patchstack has not disclosed the affected administrative action, request parameter, or missing validation that accepts and stores the script payload. Exploitation requires a privileged user to visit a crafted page or submit a malicious form; the stored script then runs in the context of later visitors.
