Published Nov 9, 2024 · Updated May 12, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in Kaedinger Audio Comparison Lite 3.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts via button text. The HTML-on-button feature accepts contributor-controlled button or label text and renders it in shortcode-generated page content without sufficient neutralization. A contributor can store the payload, but execution requires a privileged user to render the affected content.
