Contributor-level browser script execution via stored content
Published Nov 10, 2024 · Updated May 11, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in WPZA AMP Img Shortcode 1.0.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts. Patchstack identifies Contributor access as the required privilege but does not publish the affected function or exact input-to-output data flow. A Contributor must persist attacker-controlled content, and exploitation requires another user to render it; scripts then run in that viewer's browser context.
