Weak password storage in ABB ASPECT 3.x products allows remote authenticated users to recover stored credentials after administrator compromise. ABB has not disclosed the storage locus or the reversible protection operation applied to passwords. The direct consequence is disclosure of passwords stored by ASPECT, while access requires an affected system and compromised administrator credentials.
