Authentication bypass in Apache ZooKeeper before 3.9.3 allows remote attackers to execute protected Admin Server commands. IPAuthenticationProvider accepts the client-controlled X-Forwarded-For header as the request's source IP instead of deriving it from a trusted proxy or socket. Exposure requires IP-based Admin Server authentication; successful spoofing permits arbitrary snapshot and restore commands, with information disclosure or service interruption.
