Authenticated cross-account script execution via unencoded overwrite_ip
Published Nov 15, 2024 · Updated Nov 15, 2024
Stored XSS in LibreNMS before 24.10.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in other users' sessions. The Device Overview renderer in includes/html/dev-overview-data.inc.php inserts the stored overwrite_ip value into HTML without output encoding. Device-editing privileges are required to store the payload, and another user must visit the overview page; execution then supports unauthorized actions with that user's session.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
