CVE-2024-51487Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Administrative catalog state changes via invalid CSRF tokens

Published Nov 11, 2024 · Updated Nov 12, 2024

CSRF in Ampache before 7.0.1 allows remote authenticated users to change catalog activation state through crafted requests. The catalog activation and deactivation handlers accept requests when token parsing fails to establish a valid CSRF token. A logged-in account can therefore enable or disable administrator-managed catalog functionality, changing site behavior and interrupting service.
